Dave Bailey performed for the first time ever in the BBC New Comedy Awards and has gone on to perform over 500 gigs all over the UK at leading venues that included The Comedy Store, Downstairs at the Kings Head, Crack Comedy, The Comedy Cafe and The Laughing Boy Comedy Club (Run by off the Kerb). He’s also performed a full run of Dave Bailey & Friends Comedy Hour at the Edinburgh Festival and in April 2014 won The Comedy Cafe New Act Competition.
“Dave Bailey came up with the line of the night, his calmly-delivered critiques of what makes people cool (It's not about wearing a hat) and the repressed English psyche were well crafted and showed a real knack of timing. Of the three, for my money, Bailey is the one to watch.” The Argus Newspaper in Brighton
“Dave's confidence on stage, and excellent life stories and observations, kept the room locked in and hanging for his next comical story. A great set and comedian which we will be getting back for sure and working with in the future.” Oliver Tully - Grinstock Comedy Club.
“Stand Up laced with refreshing levels of self depreciation, enjoyable, engaging with clear talent, professionalism and overall a good show” Three Weeks
